Being prepared is key.
Fruits and vegetables are easy to choose as I go to the supermarket and my options are quite narrow seeing as many are ultra-packed in plastics. I tend to buy pretty much everything that doesn’t have packaging on it.
Questions surrounding origin of produce arise, and that is something I am tackling with.
Now -I always stand for about 30 minutes in front of the bulk items, thinking of what I want (japanese peanut/seaweed crackers) and what I need (grains). It takes me forever to think strategically, planning my week ahead and trying to decipher how much I need and how to cook it. This week I went all-out on my breakfasts: oats and nuts galore!
